It has been around more than six months I have been into locksmith SEO in London. The areas that I was and still am working on includes Ilford, Barking, Chigwell, Leytonstone and some what East London.
In the beginning i.e. September 2015 I really didn't knew that there are companies that provide locksmith services in London. It was shocking for me as here in my country, locksmiths are sitting around the market corner and providing services like making duplicate keys or if you lost a key they will break the lock for you. Just visit them and take them to your home to do it. Pay them for their service or here we say labor charges and simply drop them back to their place if you want to.
Now here when I am considering London, I am doing proper SEO following all the Google guidelines. This confused me. What on earth is happening? The search results are too high on the keywords related to locksmith services. Companies are paying or just say they are investing money like washing a car. No need to count the water droplets just wash it. For me, it was a jaw dropping situation.
The most powerful keyword that I researched in Google Keyword Planner was locksmith london. Currently this has the highest average search results i.e. 1600/month. In the month of May & June, the search results reach to 2400+ average search results a month. This is why many locksmith service providing companies in london are having cold war between them.
These locksmith companies are ranking high in the 'locksmith london' search results & rest of them are gaining their customers by spending a lot of money on Google Ads. These are useful but not long term. One should keep an eye on their competitor and invest on search engine optimization.
As you can observe, all these 3 are having the phrase 'locksmith london' somewhere in their title, meta description & in the URL. There are further more tactics & factors that keep them high on the keyword 'locksmith london'.
